Default Ring for Celebration

I was playing with my light box & still life shots. I really liked the composition of this one but wasn't as happy with the coloring of the original with the background. I wanted to save the shot so I started playing with different conversions & actions. The processing consists of sharpening, sepia conversion, soft glow action & crystal frame added. What I want to know is if this is too busy, does the frame take away from the shot?

You are correct that the ring just doesnt stand out enough. I do also think the framing is a distraction.
You may want to darken the background and perhaps also make it a solid color on a different layer. Leaving the ring alone by masking it off.
I think that would bring more attention back to the ring
