Hi all, sorry if this is posted in the wrong place. Feel free to move it if it needs to be.
I have been playing with photoshop again. This time I tried to layer two photos together. I'm sure I have done it totally wrong, and I'm not even sure if I remember everything I did! I cut the eagle out of his photo and layered it over the flag which was cropped out of a larger shot. I used the eraser with the opacity sat very low to kinda of "blend" the edges of the eagle. Then made his whole layer very faint. I copied the layer about three times, each time "blending" the edges a little so that by the time you get to the bottom corner you can't see through him at all. I left his eye solid so that you don't see the flag through there at all. I'm sure there's a much better way as this still doesn't blend well. If anyone knows of a simple toutorial that explains how to do this kind of thing let me know! But, how bad is this for a first try? ![]() There's no exif data for the finished photo.

It's so funny that you would post this. I ran across this tutorial yesterday and your images made me think about it. Is this what you are trying to accomplish?
