Default Sunburst at Letchworth

I took this shot just after sunrise at Letchworth State Park NY. Image is three bracketed shots combined with Photomatix to get the HDR image posted.
Would you lighten it a little to get more detail in the trees? Any other suggestions appreciated.

Sorry I don't have much to offer in the way of critique, but wanted to tell you I think this photo is gorgeous! The sun burst is awesome!

I guess you could try to lighten up the trees some and see how it looks, but overall, I think it's great as is.

Really nice shot!

Nice HDR, you didn't abuse it! :P
I definitely would NOT lighten it up!

my humble opinion thinks you might want to lighten up the trees in themiddle part just a hair. Just enough to give them a little details is all. Otherwise its a gorgeous image!

i have absolutely no critique to offer but just wanted to say that i think it is beautiful and i love the color. it reminds me of some of the imagery in the movie "what dreams may come". kind of a heightened sense of reality.

I was looking at it without seeing the fact that it was an HDR and went "wow, that's amazing". Its a very subtle HDR, which is the point.

Excellent work!

gosh, that's a stunner.... Initially I didn't realise it was HDR either, good job. IMO you don't need to lighten the trees, as to me they seem like a frame for the rest of the picture, and the frame suits being subtle like it is.

really nice work here....

my opinion is along the same lines as windrider's......just a smidge of light to the background trees would make this amazing.....

Just reading peeperita's post, I realised you probably weren't talking about the tree's I was talking about! I thought you were referring to the two at the front of the picture, maybe you were referring to all the green ones in the valley.
