    Default Manhattan pre-sunrise

This image is from a pre-dawn visit to Weehawken, NJ this past Saturday. About 30 minutes before sunrise, I was treated to an amazing glow behind the Manhattan skyline.

I'm still very new to HDR. These were processed in Photomatix and Lightroom.

I'm trying to avoid a heavily over-processed look... Have I found the right balance yet? Are the clouds too dark?

Nice job. I don't think the clouds are too dark.

    Hi
I like the image a lot - the level of processing suits the overall image so I think you have achieved your goal

I think you nailed it. I love the bit of refection in the water. Balanced the shot out nicely for me. Thanks for sharing your work.

Overall I think it's very good. I might desaturate the oranges a bit to tone down the sky, but otherwise nice job.
