Smile Tilt Shift

I am a new photographer and this is my first attempt at the Tilt Shift effect. Please let me know what I can do to make it more like miniatures.

One thing that you really need to do to make it real is a drop shadow. There should be something under the hand and the guy hanging to give it depth
