I have to say i really like the first shot. The clouds dont personally bother me but it wouldnt hurt if you did crop some off the top, but i wouldnt do much. I think i would have moved the car a little further to the right in framing but thats just me
The second shot you posted i liked better in BW.

The HDR is well done, ie not overdone. The B&W of the second one really speaks to me though. It tells a good story with the old car left for dead and dropped off there via the old bridge in the background.
