Default Light Painting PP

Hey Everyone! Had done some light painting the other night and did very little PP to this image. Other than levels and some minor image adjustments the only other thing I added was a little lens flare to add to the effect. Is the lense flare too much? I thought I made it slight enough to not really take away from the photo but apparent enough to show where the light strand originated. What do you think? Any and all critique welcome and very much appreciated Thanks for looking

What is this supposed to be a painting of?

All I see are squiggly lines across part of your photo.

No so much a painting of anything in particular, was just playing with light and depth and layers with the trees seeing how the light would play with everything. I'm still new to the technique and want to see how everything works and how the settings feel when performing the technique. It just felt right to add the lens flare to give the squiggly lights a "head" or end point almost like a snake of light weaving through the trees. I liked the shot overall, it felt a little fictional to me like I'd caught some alien lights roaming the forrest. It was a last minute outting w/ my partner so all just practice and fun.

I was expecting to see some kind of meaning or pattern to the light steaks also, but it looks more like random movements. I think it might be more interesting if the streaks showed someone going towards or away from the camera. You have established an end point with the flare, but our brains want to know the where and why behind it.
