Sorry, I have not posted much, let alone in this section. I bracketed three images +2, 0, -2. then processed them in Photomatix:
Strength=80
Color Saturation=50
Luminosity=6
Detail Contrast=3
Lighting Adjust=-2
Smooth Highlights=100
White Point=0.995
Black Point=0.393
Gamma=1
Micro Smoothing=20
Shadows Smoothness=2
Shadow Clipping=2.

Does anything blare out "Oh, BAD HDR". I was hoping someone might just give me an honest evaluation of how it turned out.

Ooooh that's lovely. Normally I hate HDR because people overdo it and use it in situations where it's not needed etc but in this photo I wouldn't have even picked HDR was used.

Lovely colours and balance.

Actually I'm impressed you were able to prevent any movement artifacts with so many masts bobbing around. Although maybe on the big picture....?

Thank you for the input. I did also process a single image. I just found the hdr had a bit more pop.

That's a really nice shot. I like a several things about the picture. I love the color balance and how it transfers to the surface of the water, very nice. I'm envious of the sunburst through the clouds, yet no white out...that's really nice work. The overall clarity of the picture is fantastic! You've taken an otherwise cluttered little port and turned it something that reflects serenity. Nice work!

Yes agreed it is nice. With HDR there is often a tendency for people to pull all sorts of colors back into the image from all parts of the spectrum which makes the images look unrealistic. This is not so here. I like the way you have left the blue parts of the sky at a believable level as any darker would have detracted in my opinion.

Thank You for your input. I REALLY appreciate the you taking the time to look and comment. I am relatively new to photography and I have really been struggling to take what I think are good images. Thank Again and may the New Year bring us all some great photographic experiences.

Good image and a nice mood. HDR is just right.

At first I felt it was a little heavy to the left side. Not enough to worry about though.

Keep it up.
