Default Neches River HDR

This is one of my first attempts @ HDR, I'd like to know if I've overdone it on this one? And composition? Thanks

Camera Fujifilm FinePix S1000fd
Exposure 0.003 sec (1/320)
Aperture f/5.0
Focal Length 5.9 mm

Neches HDR

The colours are far too intense... try toning down the saturation in photoshop. Not counting the saturation this is a nice example of HDR... ie. not overdone so that you get the painted effect.

As far as composition goes, try flipping the image so that the river flows from the left hand corner. I was once told by a professional photographer that, because we read text from left to right, our brains are accustomed to reading things that way. Compositions with leading lines from the left always seem to work better for this reason.

Thanks very much for the comments Narmour, I will try flipping it and see how that looks. And also tone down the colors a bit. Thanks again for the kind words.
