Without EXIF info, it's really hard to criticize a shot.

I will say now that the blur on the camera is distracting. Almost looks like the camera moved while taking this pic.

I like the concept. One thing you might want to do is turn the cap on the camera around so the name isnt upside down. Same with the strap.
Also try placing everything on the map away from the white area. Notice how it attracts your attention first?
Its a bit dark in some areas, try using some sort of reflector to even out your light. Even a white sheet of paper will help.
Keep shooting, you have a great idea here!

For what it's worth, I also really like the concept, but the overall darkness bugged me just a bit, as well. It seems like a "good" dream concept, so overall would want the feeling to be bit lighter.

And ditto to Windrider's comment... your work on your website is amazing.
