Default Mystical Tree

This is an HDR converted to B+W and a negative vignette, it was originally an accident then i tweaked it over the last 2 days, thoughts please?

Hmmmm I don't care for that negative vignette at all. What I do REALLY like is the processing on the bottom portion of the tree. I think if you got rid of that vignette you'd really have an awesome mysterious shot

Hmmmmm. I kind of like this, but it lost something from the last picture. This seems brighter and the rocks at the bottom of the picture were lost. That branch in the upper left and the tree in the lower left are a bit distracting. The clutter on the top is also a bit unnerving. Not sure how you could fix that without losing the effect we're looking for. Maybe if this was shot from a lower angle to remove the clutter at the top?I still like the effect on the tree branches coming off the main subject though, and I think you might have found an interesting way to process pictures.

Overall, I think this shot is fantastic. I like the gnarly tree with the lake and mountains in the background. Just not sure how to really fix this. Keep up the great work and I really hope to see more of your photos here.
