I like the subject matter and think its a good shot, but its a little over processed for my taste.

I like the composition a lot...and the subject matter. I have to agree that it seem over-processed though. Then again, I'm just not a fan of HDR stuff in general so that's where my opinion comes from. Otherwise, nice shot!

I think it is a very interesting image. Great colours and lots to take in. I don't think the HDR is overdone for this type of image, I think you got it just about spot on. The tower to the left is not distracting to me just more to take in and adds to the interest. The focal point - the wheel center - is in accordance with the thirds rule and that grabbed my attention first. I say - Well Done!

It may be just a touch over processed HDR-wise as you can see the ferris wheel looks like it's pushed into a cushion.... but before you lessen that, try adding a levels adjustment (midtone darker, highlights a touch lighter... something like that) to add more contrast into the image. I think with contrast you could make it work. Everything is just too evenly exposed.
