Default Little White Blossom

This is actually a picture of a weed growing in a flower pot on my deck - I broke my leg a few weeks ago and that's about as far as I could go for new pics to work with. Since it was a rather uninspiring image to begin with, I wanted to just play with some of the different affects in photoshop and this is what I came up with. What do you think about the processing - is it too much? - it doesn't really look like a photograph at all anymore.

Thanks for taking the time to look.

I like the effect - it looks to me like an old oil painting on cloth. The only thing I would change is remove the whitish border around the flower, if the oil painting effect is what you are trying to achieve.

TFS.
