![]() Salam "The BIG CAT"! by Chris Adval, on Flickr Shot with a Canon EOS Rebel T2i/550D and YN560 external flash Shutter: 1/50th Aperture f/5.6 ISO Speed 100 Lens: EF-S18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Focal Length 113 mm Back Story: I got my YN560 external flash and was testing it and my cat Salam jumped onto the bookshelf and I shot him luckily. I didn't prepare for the shot and got a very underexposed shot and was bored one day and played with lightroom and got what I got above... I remember bumping up the exposure and contrast. This shot was taken back on Feb 2011 so I can't really remember too many details on the editing part. I know it came out really cool and decided to submit it to my college's student art exhibit as my first showing in a gallery.

I like the comp and the shot, but personally, I would have cloned out what wasn't the cat in this image except for the background tones. Nice feline portrait all the same!
