Well I downloaded a trial of the Topaz Adjust plug-in today, and I must admit it's tons of fun.
I went back and pulled out some RAWs from a recent car show and tossed them in the oven. I don't know if I overcooked them, but I think my eyes are liking them. What do you think, did I overcook them? Should I trash them or post them in my "portfolio?" EXIF (Mopar Row) Canon T2iThe rest can be found on Facebook, the last four I uploaded today being the ones I'm talking about.

It's an artistic decision.
However if you want a bit more control; you can apply the filter to a layered image and just reduce the opacity of the layer a bit to tone it down or even, by using masks, just apply the filter selectively.

Well is this any better?
Only thing is it really brings out the details in the pavement reflections on the bumper, and I can't figure out how to prevent that other than just a lot of cloning out.
