Default Pepsi HDR

Okay...bored at work, messing around. This is my first attempt at some HDR. I took a RAW file I shot at a car show last weekend, converted to DNG and created two new images by doing exposure compensation of -2 and +2. Merged these three via Photoshop CS5 and did some tonemapping experimenting. I then had to do some touch up on the final image, as it had a lot of noise and oversaturation in spots.

What do you think? Overcooked? I actually thought it might need some SERIOUS overcooking to make it look more like a painting, since it's not that great of a shot anyway.

What are your thoughts?

I like the result - has a bit of a Lomo look about it. The only thing I would have tried is to clone out the people. Nice work!

Thanks Bruce! I may try to clone out the people when I get some more down time.
