Default Waiting at the Station (Overdrive)

Not HDR. (Named it overdrive because i was listening to metal at the time) I accidentally stumbled upon this processing technique while working. I'm curious about your opinions, does this look like HDR or some other method that you see alot? Does it work for you or is the processing distracting? Critique and comments on the processing most welcome, but feel free to critique the composition if you like

Nikon D700. 24mm F1.4 @ 1/6000 Iso 200
14 bit raw - processed in light room.

I LOVE this photo! I don't know how it would be categorized, but I love how clean the black and whites are and how much the shadows stand out. It's a calming photo that still has a sense of mystery to it. I would hang this up in my house

Thanks for the comment- It's good to hear the look is good to someone else. I`m still a bit worried that I`ve plugged the shadows up too much and that it might be a bit over-processed. I did find one thing I would definitely change though, I realized that I had a second shot a moment after this one without the guy walking into the frame. (from between the pillars)

Might be called "high contrast". Your feedback on mood is helpful to me thanks for taking the time to write.

I like this shot, makes me think of a magazine or newspaper shot, with a bit of old-fashioned feel about it. Hard to define but I like what you've done. And I like it with the guy in the foreground, gives depth and context.
