Default Lines In The Field

Camera Samsung GX10
Exposure 0.003 sec (1/350)
Aperture f/9.5
Focal Length 35 mm
ISO Speed 100
Exposure Bias -1/2 EV

Hows the composition / general PP?

Over exposed to ensure detail in the sky, pp - highlight/shadows adjustment, further curves /saturation and colour mixer then final crop.

Added texture to create teh fold and different areas of colour overlay.

I like this shot, I think the composition is good. I like that fact that you didn't just stick that dominant tree right in the middle, it allows my eye tomove through the scene from left front to right rear and doesn't stop me. I'm not sure I'm a fan of the texture though, it kind've makes it look like something puller from a book. This may have been what you had in mind, in which case I'll shut up
I notice that the crop is still new and see a lot of potential for future visits as the plants grow through the season.

The feel i was after was a general dreamy sense, i have tried this in a number of ways but found i liked this one the best.

Im going through that little phase of babyshopping photo's to learn photoshop techniques and to a degree i like experimenting with textures and combining layers.

definitely a place i will be going back to over the coming months as i do a lot of hill walking round that way and somewhere i have passed a few times with intention to get out and shoot there.

I like the shot but would delete the faux fold.
