Default New to photshop. Just practicing

What do you think. I just took a picture of a dried rose and messed around in photo shop until I got something I liked. What do you think. What else would you do....not do? The photo looks more pink on the website but more red on my computer. Not sure why.

I'm really not a graphics guy, but it looks like something you'd use more in that genre than you would photography. It looks very posterized, too much so for my tastes.

In landscape photography, when you shoot is more important than where you shoot.

That's exactly what I did to it. It took a photo of a dried rose, photoshopped the stem out and then posterized it. I wasn't going for the "real rose" look. Just trying to learn what I can do with photoshop (I'm a SUPER newbie!!) and I just kinda liked the way it turned out. I guess it's all a matter of taste with this type of photo huh? Thanks for the input.

You also might have uploaded something odd like a gif. Use Jpeg.

I'm not sure what that means? I know gif. is type of format like Jpg or Raw or something like that but not sure what you mean in this case? It was shot in raw and then converted to .jpg.....Like I said. I'm a supernewbie at photoshop

There are some "features" of Photoshop that should probably be ignored...
