Default PP with Texture suggestions

I wanted to get people's thoughts on this PP job. I edited it in PS5 with a vintage looking texture. It was shot in RAW mode with some minor edits along with the texture. I was wondering if you think it is too "yellow" looking and any advice on what I could do better to improve the look.

Shot with Canon T2i with 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM lens in Aperture Priority mode
f/2.8 aperture 1/250 exposure and ISO 800

Most of the time lines that run near the edge of the frame and roughly parallel to it have a tendency to lead our eyes out of the frame. You have a line of crown molding near the top of the frame that needs to be cropped out. It won't hurt your image at all to just lop it off.

I'm not going to answer your color question; I "fixed" an image the other day only to have someone tell me it looked yellow/green. Sure enough, they were right on the money. Apparently either my screen or my eyes need to be calibrated.

agree with Lee..when I saw this first posted before it had to be removed I said the same thing about that moulding on the top...crop it out for a better image

Thanks for the tips guys, I cropped out the molding at the top and it really cleaned up the picture.

I'm curious why the texture changed the color or did you do some other PP to it?

It's a little warm on my calibrated monitor.

Textures are normally applied as gray scale so they don't impact color.

Yes, it is yellower than the original, IMO the original colour is better. You said other minor edits - did you use autolevels on it? I find this sometimes adds a yellow tinge (with pale blue skies turning more greenish).
