Default Smash!

Smash!

I wanted to make the processing fit the action. I attempted to customize instructions for a lomo look to supersaturate the colors.

Anyhow, do you think it's too saturated? Too oversharpened? Too vignetted?

Thanks in advance for advice.

Camera Canon EOS 40D
Exposure 0.1 sec (1/10)
Aperture f/6.3
Focal Length 105 mm
ISO Speed 250
Software Adobe Photoshop Elements 8.0 Windows
Date and Time (Modified) 2010:11:24 09:59:03
Exposure Program Aperture-priority AE

Not so much on the saturation, but the vignetting I'm not seeing how it adds anything, It's an interesting piece, and I think the natural grain of the wood is a nice contract to the gleaming metal.

That be my twopence.

Thanks Sistereinstein. I agree with you. I should have had the vignetting so light as to be almost unnoticeble.

Ditto on the vignetting.

The lime isn't really compressed enough for that "Smash!" feel.

edit: You know, Lightroom has a really great vignetting tool.

Thanks for the comments and I agree. It's so easy to see when it's pointed out to me, lol.

Anyhow, that is an olive, not a lime. The castelvetrano olive has a striking green color, don't you agree?
