Default Cross Processing..is it enough?

Took this shot today and it just screamed cross processing to me. It was my first try so I'm wondering is it enough or should I have given it more? I didn't wanna overdo it, but I wanted it to be recognizable,

I don't really know what should be the effect of cros-processing, but I like how it looks.

I think a better question is do you think it looks good now?
If you're happy with it, than I think it looks fine. There isn't some archetypical cross-processed model image out there that needs to be matched as closely as possible to be considered cross-processed. Technically, since you're doing this on the computer, it isn't cross-processed at all.
Don't get caught up in trying to make something identifiable, when it can (and does) look nice however you did it. Call it the AdrenoJunkie process and see if people like the colors YOU chose.

Probably more than you were looking for as far as critique, but... yeah...

I don't know what a cross-processed image should look like, AdrenoJunkie, but I love the image you have posted. To my eye the muted color suits the overall mood. Great use of the tire for framing!

I agree with Eileen. It looks good. I'm sure it helped that your original photo is wonderfully composed and you have a great model. Well done!

Yes I do think it looks good and I am very happy with it. This one is actually in the running as my favorite shot that I've taken of my son. What you say makes total sense and I agree fully. I was really just curious if others recognized it as cross processed or just interesting (or whatever you think of it) editing.

The framing, and the whole shot for that matter, were pure luck. I was actually doing a shoot with a family and was taking shots of another 3yr old sitting on the tractor when my son decided to have a seat in the tire. So I turned and snapped off a couple of him real quick before he moved. It was very on the fly composition.
