Default church & dark sky- not sure how to edit it

Hi there!
I just had my first lesson with photoshop today so I really have not much of a clue how to use it. I took this photo in England last summer and would like to enhance it, especially the sky and make it more dramatic. I'm wondering if you guys can give me some suggestions and some detailed instructions on how to go about doing this on photoshop. I'm using photoshop CS3 if it makes a difference. Thanks!

One tool I use A LOT is the burn tool. Set it on midtones and about 65%. That alone will help make your sky more dramatic.

I find the green distracting, so were I to process, I would desaturate the greens out and try to pull out the highlights from the bricks and use windrider's suggestions too for the sky. She's given some great PS suggestions that I've used on photos.

Great looking steeple - I would really like to see more compositions from this location - so hopefully you can revisit ?
