Question A new night shot in park, PP using Exposure Fusion, opinions please:

Hi everyone,

A couple of weeks ago I made a night hdr shot in a park but didn't quite like it, so I made another one, new set of exposures.

I processed it using Exposure Fusion in Photomatix, so I guess it's not a real hdr.
I find the results from exposure fusion much more realistic (that's what I was going for) and also simpler to achieve.

I would like to hear what do you think about the overall feel to this image, do you find it pleasing?
Do you find the light levels realistic?
What do you think about the subject (now you're gonna ask me What's the subject LoL )?
The subject is supposed to be the overall mood and feel of the night in the park..

Any other comments are welcome.

P.S. The image here looks a bit softer than on Flickr, so don't mind that.

I really like the composition and the feel is there for what you are trying to convey... what is your EXIF data?

i like this shot. it has mood but i think it is too yellow. maybe a little adjustment with hue to have some greens on the grass. but that is only my opinion.
hope you don't mind i attached a sample.

Am... that's a tough question since I discarded this "shoot" and decided not to take it any further - I don't like it.

Wait, I found the original raw images (didn't delete them from my backup). They were all shot at f8 and ISO 100 with shutter times ranging from 1/3 seconds to 20 seconds. There were 7 shots in total.
Thanks for replying.

Edit: Sorry, didn't see your post edbayani! You're right, it could use some hue adjustment on the grass, but it would have to be hidden with a mask from the rest of the photo. Thanks!

Hmm... HDR at night is one thing I have yet to try out - did you compare the HDR pic you processed with any one of your long exposure pics? Did you not find that the long exposure pics to have the same amount / more detail of the chair/ bin/ trees as your exposure fused version?

Would really love to see one of your longer exposures of this scene (>10 seconds) ....

Maybe they do.
Send me your e-mail address via a pm and I'll send it to ya.

PS This exposure fused image is verrry blurry comparing to single exposures.
