Default Lost My Light

When I finally got the camera out, the sun had gone behind the clouds and I really didn't think I would get much out of this image; but I loaded it up in GIMP and hit it with the FakeHDR plug-in to see what the result would be. I'm not really impressed with the foreground as it is so dark, but I like how the colors in the clouds came out. This image has been cropped from the original and I think I'm amiss on the composition. I took several shots of this, all with varying apertures and this is just the one that I've really looked at to this point. What do y'all think?

Model = PENTAX K-x
Exposure Time = 1/15"
F Number = F13
ISO Speed Ratings = 100
Exposure Bias Value = ±0EV
Focal Length = 21.25mm

sorry, it doesnt work for me. I like the road being off to the side and leading off to the distance. But unless you are going for a super abstract look, the purple ground and the other colors are too far stretched. That's just my opinion tho
