Default 1st Panorama Harbour

Hi,

Here's my first attempt at a panorama. I just used photosticher which came with my camera.

Questions.

Does this work? How would I have improved the composition.

Is there anything else I can do in PP to help this?

I like it. The horizon is perhaps a little close to halfway and the bush/tree on the right is a bit unlucky, but otherwise not bad at all.

I agree the composition is pretty good. The only suggestion I have is that I would prefer a little more foreground and a little less sky.

Thanks for your kind words. I'll try to do an alternative edit and see if thats any better. I had more room to play with the composition, though I felt narrow was better there were some unsightly distractions in the foreground.

I'll give this another shot as above Krusty. Thanks.

I think it's a great place for a pano. For my tastes, the light would be a lot better either first thing in the morning or just before sunset. As it is, you've got some pretty harsh light in there.

Yeah wasn't a lot of choice with the time. We were on a coach trip. I was there I took the shots. I mean to say no chance to plan in advance. Just to take the best shot you can with whats in front of you.

Second attempt at processing.

Its a complete reprocess from the origional raw file. I've tried cloning out the foreground areas that were distracting rather than cropping out.

I hope that the composition is stronger in this one.

Better or worse?
