Default Christmas Card

I was trying to get an image to use for a Christmas card. I got nice ones of these little fellows alone but only one of them together that works :-(

I am still fighting with b&w and always think I am getting there until I see them against your great edits! I wondered if any one would be willing to have a go, so I can work to get mine to your level? .................

I love Christmas Cards and these boys are precious. I find the bear in the back is a distraction. I think for someone's card that they mail, it is good to see their eyes and face clear. If you are wanting to show off how cute the kids are. The baby is all smooched up and he looks uncomfortable. Plus, his cute hand is cut off. I like the black and white, it makes the boys look clear and the color toy pops. But... then that Santa toy takes away from looking at the sweet boys.

I agree with the toy in the background - and I put it there - arghhhhhh! Won't make that mistake again! Yes the feed back I am having is to put the who thing in b&w as you suggest.

I also agree it would be far better to see their eyes. I think I may suggest to Mum we go again.

Thanks ;-)

The thing with selective coloring is that you only want to color your subject. So be leaving the santa in color and the boys in black and white, you are telling the viewer that the main subject is the santa toy. I think you should go all B&W.
