I like it
...nice composition and definitely not over-processed.

I would agree that you have not over-processed the image. Few things are uglier than over processed HDR images but you have managed to avoid that trap. The composition is OK, but not great. I get the feeling that the sidewalk is leaning one direction and the trees and lamposts the other direction to balance it out. I'm also not sure about the white balance. I suspect some tweaking in that area would be helpful.

Thanks for your opinions.
I did a new shoot in the same park last night. I used a different lens (sharper, 35mm f1.8), bit different composition, I used in-camera preset incandescent white balance and what is most important, quality of the light was way better last night, there was no fog and it was pretty clear. I will process it and post it here again, for you to comment. It should be better than this one. As for this image, I tried to use preset WB settings, but there was no difference. And honestly, I was hoping for a more refined look than this one. You see the noise/oversharpening effect in the path just in front of the camera? It doesn't look like that in Photoshop, but when I upload it, it does. Don't know why!?? |
