Hello everyone
I am new to this site, and to photography, so please go easy on me. I took this photo of a river whilst on a walk. My view point was very limited as I was standing on a bridge crossing the river. I think it has come out fairly well. I tried to get a good depth of field, giving the feeling that you're there in the picture. Any opinions are most welcome. How many different exposures did you take to blend?
I think you nailed the shot. I have tried to take photos in the same enviroment.... down by a creek with heavy tree coverage. Its really hard to get the balance like this. Very nice. |

Nicely done mate! Looks like something out of Lord of the Rings in the elf kingdom or something. Awesome work!!!

Thankyou both for your kind comments - I really appreciate it. I wasn't sure what kind of response I'd get!
![]() Wesnile, I blended three shots together. I did take a few pics with various settings, and blended some from the set that looked the best. There is an element of Lord of the Rings. Maybe I'll send it to Mr Jackson for future spin off DVD covers!
