Default HDR Sunset: Framing and Processing Concerns

Hi all,

Making my first ever post here.
I will start with the image:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/3159111...37055/sizes/z/

(Somehow the IMG tag doesnt work)

And here is the EXIF:
Exif | Fire and Water | Flickr - Photo Sharing!
(exif is a little sparse on details, perhaps because it's 3 images. Lemme know if I should provide any more details)

I've been trying to get the HDR effect for a while since I got myself a DSLR.
I should also mention that I try to make it look as natural as possible.
Recently there was an evening of heavy showers followed by an awesome sunset aurora, and I took the chance to get in some HDR time.
  • I took 3 shots at +/-1EV.
  • 55-200mm lens was zoomed at 90mm.
  • I used a warm color mode while capturing the images to get the sunset right.
  • HDR work was done by Photomatix.

My primary concerns:
  • Is this too over-saturated? I had to desaturate the image somewhat in Photomatix, and I fear the results are still too unnatural.
  • Is there any way I could have framed this better? (Right above the top frame is a set of ugly power cables that I wanted to avoid)

Apart from these, any generic notes are always welcome.
