Default Straw Bales & Barn

Hi,

I had a go at two HDR images the other day. I'm not too keen on the 'over cooked' look so I tried to keep it simple. Its the first time i've used my DSLR for HDR images since buying it, so i'd appreciate any feedback at all.

Welcome, when posting in the critique section we ask for a tad bit more work. Please take a peek at the guidelines (Posted at the top of each page) and see what info you missed out on and then please return and ad it in. Thanks a million!

I think you did a nice job, you can't tell the image was really tone mapped. I think a little less saturation in the blues would help. The sky appears over saturated to me.

Hi,

The photo was taken with a Nikon D60, i'm mildly colour blind and thus have doubts over colours. I'm particuarly keen to know whether the colours in this image are over the top or just about right, however I'm happy to hear any feedback at all.

Thank-you.

I'm no HDR expert, but I don't think your colors are overdone. They don't have that "cartoony" look or that "painting" look that I have seen on some other HDR shots. I don't see very much of the halo effect where the top of the building meets the sky either.
