Talking my first "worth sharing" HDR

Beauty in the Slum
Large Version: All sizes | Beauty in the Slum | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

I'm not really sure if this one is worth sharing so please critique. Just got my tripod and I was excited to try this. I'm not sure if the slums area is nice or just distracting. But what I'm trying to do is to show the beauty that exists even in slums (I think I failed )

Camera Canon EOS 500D
Lens : 18-55mm kit lens
Exposure 0.033 sec (1/30) //this is HDR (3 pics) so I'm not sure if this one is accurate???
Aperture f/8.0
Focal Length 21 mm
ISO Speed 100

PS: any comment if you guys think it's overdone (HDR)??

You really needed to show more of the buildings in the image to help give it context, it looks like it could have been a very interesting shot, love the sky..

brian_dg,

I wouldn't be surprised if the sky really was that bright color. Must have been an awesome sunset (was it?)! Does not look overdone to me, though I agree with digirebelva, some more building detail would have conveyed the idea better.
