A new combination...check it!!

Hi all, I did a combination of two pics and additionally I played with colouring

Since there are two different pics, EXIF is not available / relevant

Can you please critic composition and the idea?

Nice concept.
Always make sure that when doing a composite that the clarity and lighting matches up. For me the dark sky is a contradiction to the brightness of the balloon.

The brightness of the balloon doesn't bother much me as it sort of matched the lighting on the structure. However the perspectives don't match. The view of the balloon is straight up and the view of the structure is mostly straight on. It looks like the balloon is being blown away in a gale force wind.

Also, when you are masking or erasing, blow your image up BIG so you can make sure you're getting the edges close

windrider is rght on both replys. another thing i noticed was where is the basket of the hot air balloon and the gadget that fires the flames?
you could have used the liquify tool to correct a bit the perspective of the balloon.

Concept good, execution ok.

A good tip when selecting anything for pasting into a different frame is to feather it slightly: 0.5-1px. This stops you getting the artificially sharp edge like you have around the pyramid here.

I also don't like the dark sky, it looks out of place. I'm all for challenging reality, but in this case it just jars. These kind of shots should make you look twice to realise they are artificially done.
