Default Over the top?!

Hi All,

Would like to know what you think of the PP..do you think its overdone?? Please feel free to comment on any other aspects of the photo that you feel can be improved.TIA

While its obviously been PP'd I don't think its been overdone in a bad way. Its got that 'vintage' feel to it. I would've cropped out those disembodied hands to the left and right though.

Hey thanx for taking the time to comment ....appreciate the feedback. It was a conscious decision to leave the people around the subject.I thought that would help frame the subject n to direct the eye of the viewer. I did a bit of blur on them to negate any distraction.

@tantrix Thanks ...the cake was overexposed even in the sooc...haven't tried B&W..will gv it a go.

@SanarPics Thanx for ur time..."pp" is post-processing.

I don't think the processing is over done here, I like the vintage feel and the subject (cake + boy) are interesting. I agree that the hands on the left should be cropped out. Despite the blurring they are far too disctracting without adding anything to the story of the picture.

I like the shot but think that a closer crop would look better. You managed to capture a lovely expression!

While I'm not nuts about the arms/hands in the foreground, the PP, I think, is GREAT. Of course, I love vintage PP on any photo :-P

I'm with cropping out the hands as well, I think the processing is great and not overdone. almost a LOMO feel to it. Great work
