Hello, this is my first attempt at a panoramic shot. I recently bought my first camera about a week ago and I am still getting used to the endless possibilities with the DSL. What are some things that I could try to make the best out of panoramas. My main concern with this shot is that it is starting to get blown out on the left side of the sky. Thank you.

Blown out sky is not in my eye at all, the action is the interesting part

I really like the way you have done this and think that you could add 3 more pics in make it flow more (ie. more pics of the jumper)

Yea.. I like this pic a lot. Agree that more pics would add to it. How did you attach the various pics?

Thanks for the tips guys! I will reshoot this type of shot and try to incorporate more shots of the jumper, I agree that it would make it flow more. As for taking the shot i set up the tripod and panned the camera while taking various shots as the runner passed. I then used Photoshop's photomerge to stitch the images together. Thanks again for the comments.

I really like the look. Just as the other comments, I think the best action would be to add a couple more inbetweens. Probably 6 or so total would be able to give a great action.
