That's a pretty cool shot. Actually a good use of selective color. To complete the effect, you may want to desaturate the people directly below the camera.

I wonder how it would look with the court on the screen colored as well?

Never would've guessed it was from an iphone.

Very creative idea, and well executed.

Thanks.. I bought an SLR and an iPhone at the same time.. and kinda got blown away with what you can do with a phone. This picture I took using an HDR application. It works same as regular HDR. Takes two pictures and then merges them. Then I used another app with lets you selectively color/gray out images. Kicker is.. gotta do it using your finger (on the phone).. so its extremely time consuming.

Just tried your ideas... check them out:

people removed.. also the blue on sidelines and the bar in front of camera is gray now:

the screen is color:

this was interesting.. they invert all the coloring...

Hi,
I actually like selective colouring, but the myriad of colours in an all colour shot of this would make it for me.

Cool effects and great job, especially on a phone! My favorite of all the different types is the one with the coloring of the court and the screen. The sky and lights look really good in B&W. TFS.
