So I took this picture of my cousin skimboarding the other day and started playing around in Lightroom and I was trying to get that gritty look that you might see in a comic book. I basically went through and edited the photo once, made a duplicate of it so the sliders would all be set back to normal and then made those adjustments again on the duplicate.
I wanted to see if you guys thought this photo was overdone, or if theres anything else I can do to make it look even grittier. ![]() Shot on a Canon T2i Canon 50mm f1.8 lens 1/2500 sec exposure shot at f/4 no flash fired. shot later in the afternoon, i believe the sun was just starting to go down.

I like the post processing you have done here but I'm not sure it really reminds me of a "gritty comic book" If you could post an example of what you are going for I can probably help you achieve the look. I like the composition and action in this image. Personally I like it the way it is and wouldn't change anything excpet maybe cropping the top of the image some.
