Default Preset(ted) Portraits - Plus or Minus?

I have been experimenting with different settings/presets in Lightroom recently. Pretty happy with some of the results, only curious how others see them. Do these presets/effects add to or take away from a portrait like this? Feel free to share your thoughts, whatever point of view you have. Thanks a bunch!

I think this image in particular is perfectly suited for some post work to add some individuality to it, to evoke/ enhance a mood. I like what you have done with this image in post.

Without seeing the original I say this post-proc works. I do feel that it's too grainy for my taste on the background.

Thanks for the advice "klam", I will try to do some noise reduction while keeping the overall effect, and see what happens.

I like it, looks kinda vintage and matches the look and feel of the pic. Great job.

Overall I like it. I think the texture/grain in the BG should be softened a bit, the details takes my eye away just a bit.

I like it, but to me it's a bit too red/pink for my taste.....I prefer it a bit more towards orange/yellow.

Otherwise it's ok, but the graininess bothers me.
