Default Tracks by abandoned factory

Took this early on a foggy morning. Nikon D80 at 100 ISO with Nikkor 12-24 @ f8. HDR with Photomatix. One of my beginner attempts at HDR. Comments?

The HDR is nice, not too heavy on the post processing just how I like it.

However you can see the Halo which shows the post processing up a little around the tree on the left of shot.

I also feel as if the horizon is sloping down to the right.

The gravel, the ties, and the tracks look great. The sky is a little sketchy with the halos. Still pretty decent though.

Nice shot, like it. Not overdone like a lot of HDR seem to be these days. Same as above regarding the halo around the tree but like the lighting and colours.

Hello!

I like the HDR of this picture because it's not excessive and "beautify" the lower section of the image, the one with the rails. The texture and colours of the rails are very pleasing. I am not bothered by the sky -apart the innatural halo around the tree-. I think it completes and balance the composition with the "detailed" rails.
