Default Brothers Portrait!!Xx

Trendy

Exposure 0.001 sec (1/800)
Aperture f/5.6
Focal Length 55 mm
ISO Speed 400
Exposure Bias 0 EV
Flash Off, Did not fire

Absolutely Love this shot that I took of my brother. This was the first time I did skin enhancements on photoshop, I did go a it overboard on the Surf Blur, But overall I think it came out cool.

THat is a great portrait. The only thing that I see is that his teeth have a bit of a color cast to them...I would whiten them up a bit.

the surface blur doesnt look to bad but it looks like you didnt touch the skin up enough before using it so you can see threw it which is what makes it look worse, you also have to go back and pick out the details like mustache hairs, tattoo and facial lines. Those glasses remind me of the ones my model wore yesterday lol.

Thank You Private & kc502roller..kc502roller How do I go about bringing out those details. Never thought about it but those little things would make the photo pop so much more.

you duplicate the touched up version of the photo then put the surface blur on that version, turn it into a layer mask then you just paint the blur in where you want it using a low opacity and soft brush. if you've never used layer masks before its pretty simple just go to layers>layer mask> hide all then you just have to make sure the black box is highlighted and you can then use white brush to paint the effect in or black to paint it away, Look up youtube videos on it there is a ton and prob easier to understand then what I just rambled lol

And easy way to touch up teeth is to select them and reduce the yellow.
