I did a bit of PP, basically, add sharpness using hi-pass filter and some dodge and burn at selective parts of the skin. .. Does it looks ok or just too hard on the subject.? or is it bit overdone..?

I don't want to be rude, but yes it is a little much. Back off of the radius on your high pass, and it will be much better. If you look around the head, there is a halo, which either means you have too much opacity on your high pass layer, or the radius used was too large.
Try to do the high pass where you can see just a faint outline of what you want sharpened. It will yield much better results.

thanks luke.. yeah,, noticed the halo. Must have over did something at some stage of the hi pass.
