Unhappy How would you edit this photo?

I need help on how to edit photos and want to know what you guys would do? Please download the picture. it is a jpg. Thank you

To be honest - its not the best image to start editing with - the composition or lighting isnt great.

But!....read some of the tutorials - especially those on curves / levels.

I gave it about 30 seconds in photoshop - adjusted the levels, threw in a bit of contrast & saturation adjustment.

i'd remove the background and replace it with a dark gradient to make it look continuous with the dark flooring and add a little contrast.

Default Here's my shot...



I did a few things.
1. Masked the car.
2. Put it on a plain white bg (more like the Mercedes website).
3. Created a Hue/Sat Adj. layer (blend mode - soft light)
4. Drew the shadow under the car
5. Did another softening layer (dup. bg layer and change blending mode to overlay) but only masked certain parts of the car that way.
6. Dodge & burn (with a 50% grey layer)
7. A nice sharpen
