Default Over Processing?

Ive been told that I over process some of the action/sports shot I do. Personally I think its a style of photography. Some people go for the film feel with their digital and i like mine to have some color and be a bit eye catching. Is over processing a bad thing because if it is im gonna have to cut it down. heres a couple pictures I took. just tell me whats good and whats bad about them. I dont have photoshop I just use my iPhoto on my mac to do some editing.

If your style, and the feel you want to impart, is "overprocessed" then so be it - it's your art! But it's difficult to accept colors that aren't correct...for example skin to be orange.

To my eye, they are just a little too contrast-y, and a little too saturated.

I think if that is your style then that's cool. But I think you want to make it unique and cool at the same time so it has that wow factor to it. Sometimes over processing ends up just blowing out the colors and you lose all the detail - get photoshop some time. You'll have a field day!!

For me there is way too much distraction in these action shots, too much background in focus, the attention should be on the subject with the back a blur.

I agree with Jagman that there is way to much background in focus. Maybe try adding a bit of vignetting or cropping the images. That was what I would I do
