Default My first panorama, a golf course

Golf Course

EXIF
Nikon D60, 18-55 AF-S DX VR
AF Mode: Manual
Camera Mode: Manual
White Balance: Daylight
ISO:100
f Stop: 8.0
Shutter: 1/250
Focal Length: 55mm
Flash: Off/DNF

My specific concern with this photo is the exposure from left to right. I tried to determine the exposure in the center frame of the pano when I shot the photos. The left side to me looks good but the closer you get to the right frame the more washed out it gets. Just wondering if I am seeing things the right way and if I set up properly. Shot in manual with the same settings on all 5 frames.

Its most likely because the farther to the right you get, the more direct of an angle to the sun you get, thus it causing the sky to get blown out. I'd maybe try to get it with more indirect sunlight, like at sunset. That way you don't get the blown out sky's, and you might get some awesome colors from the sky...

The east sky is blue in the afternoon only, the west sky is blue in the morning only , the south sky is never blue and the northern sky is always blue

So as Dr. Ruth would say, "it is perfectly natural"

Our eyes can see a lot more color that the camera, so while we may see a blue sky the camera can not. It is really not "blown out", it is what it is..... white.

The only way to get a naturally blue sky it that many frames is to face north. Since that is not possible sometimes, then you get an image that gradually goes from white to blue or visa versa (or if you face south, all white)

Thank you both for your input.

Edit: I will give this another attempt next weekend, maybe from a different view, or at a different time of day.
