I'm mainly looking for critique on how i put the dog in the clouds. (how is the blending, placement, etc?)
I used GIMP. I put in the dog picture and smudged the edges, to try to blend the two layers. It was the first major project I have done in GIMP, so you're critique is needed. Thanks

went back into GIMP because I wasn't completely satisfied with the blending job, and I tried to fix it up.

If you want him to look like he is part of the clouds, try leaving a little bit of the clouds over him. Let them overlap around the edges and leave just a hint in areas around the eyes and nose
