Default Duotone

Hi,
Got this picture, and the colour version just doesn't do it for me. Tried a B&W conversion too, but was underwhemed by that also. I'd never tried this type of conversion and am unsure if this is a good example or not. Are there certain colour combinations that portray a sunny day (as this was?) I'll qualify that last bit by saying that oranges make the pisture look a little sepia which I don't particularly like. ANY comments appreciated.
Thanks
Dave

What program were you using to perform the duotone? If you're using Light Room, I suggest taking a look online for some preset's and going from there. There are a bunch of awesome one's you can grab. Not sure how they feel about external links on this site, but I'd check out Presetheaven.com

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I'm using CS5. Thanks for the link and it has given me some good pointers.
