Hello - nice capture. I like the composition where you have utlilized the trees to creat depth, the light seems a bit harsh - it would probably would have really worked earlier or later in the day, overall a very nice picture.

I wonder what it would look like with it mirrored? Reason I say this is the eye naturally works from left to right.
How much processing did you do on this? The middle trees have an odd blue tint to them while the front tree is green.
Composition is great, I like the use of the front tree very much

Thanks for the great suggestions.

RonCar10: I agree, lighting was horrible that day, but as we were traveling, it was the only chance I had...I am trying to plan to get back at a better time...

Windrider86: Never even thought of that {Palm to forehead}, I will try mirroring it when I get a chance..great idea! Didnt do a ton with it...the trees (Redwoods) in the area are like that naturally, depending on the lighting...they really are amazing. I will see if I can do something with that in the next run, also.

Thanks for all the great ideas!

I envy you. A couple of years ago I rode my Harley from Southern Colorado up thru Utah, Oregon and then down the coast thru the Redwood forest. And then back to Colorado. Hard to ride and almost wrecked cause I was so in awe and kept looking up instead of paying attention to where I was going. lol

windrider86 - envy is two ways. I long to go back to Colorado, I was so young when I was there, and would love to go back and take pics.

I totally understand...been awhile since I had been there and it still makes me stop and wonder...anybody who hasnt seen them, just doenst know what they are missing...

Here is the shot, mirrored. Would be interested in any/all comments.

RedwoodsAndFerns

I tired working with the colors, but it either changed everything real green, or made the other trees purple..enough I didnt want to save/post....

Thanks all for looking.
