Default Content-aware fill

Playing around with the "Content-aware fill" in CS5. Very impressive, I gotta say!

Here's before:

And after:

Oh and those wires, I kinda like them, so I just left them there.

Really cool! This looks like the result of using Layer Masks in CS4. Have you done that before, and is this a good deal easier?

Thanks,

Ron

Doing this was a piece of cake. I was really testing the new feature after getting the CS5 a couple of days ago. I was very impressed with the results and how easy it really was. I didn't have to do anything but use the brush and the railings got wiped away with a few strokes.

I just did the same to remove wires in a shot of an old movie theater. I am terrible at photoshop and hardly ever use it, but wire removal with content aware fill was as easy as select and fill. Great tool.

Thank you - that all by itself will make the upgrade to CS5 worth it.

I agree..that and CS5's Merge to HDR Pro, its definately a worthy update. Some people have still complained about Adobe's HDR support, but i think it works flawlessly...I love CS5 and will never look back, thats for sure!
