Default Lands End Seascape

Hi All, I haven't been here in a while but wanted to get some feedback on one of my photos.

Its been quite heavily edited but I was trying to make that invisible to the casual view, i.e. avoid the "Harry Potter, fantasy land" look. Have I done it?

You can view a larger copy here

Lands End

Exposure 0.005 sec (1/200)
Aperture f/8.0
Focal Length 14 mm
ISO Speed 100

Thanks

Outstanding job Fletch! I really like it - this is the way I like HDR to be done.

This is very cool. It's moody without being too obviously processed. Where was this taken?

nicely done, two things though, the horizon seems to be tilted and the sky needs darkening so it is more threatening which add to the moodiness and as Pitrih says, get rid of the red tones out of the sky..

Nice work, the HDR isn't too obvious. I think the horizon and sky both look fine, but I agree about desaturating the red channel.

It was taken looking out over Lands End in Cornwall, UK.

The horizon is straight, its just an optical illusion on the left due to the line of the hill. I suppose I could fix the optical illusion by raising the land.

Where does this red thing in the sky come from? I can't see it on any of my monitors.

yep, i think you're right, the Horizon is an optical illusion. There is a lot of red in there. have a look at your channels..

Beautiful picture! You did a great job with the editing as it looks very natural. Like you, I cant see any red in the sky unless the darkness that boarders the top of the clouds looks red the them?
