Default manipulated portrait. superimposed, retoned

IMG_0414_pi

This is actualy from 2 pictures. superimposed and blended using layers. Added some textures and tones adjustments. I didn't plan on doing this, just browsing some recent pictures that i've taken, found the Background pic with lots of -ve space and a portrait with bad composition so decided to play around.

I like some oppinion if it's too dark or is the blending, opacity etc right . What do ya feel when looking at it.?

girl:
Tv( Shutter Speed ) 1/125
Av( Aperture Value ) 3.2
ISO Speed 200

background:
Tv( Shutter Speed ) 1/50
Av( Aperture Value ) 4.5
ISO Speed 640

Interesting image, interesting post work. I think the blending/texturing worked well. I think the woman's gaze/expression fits well with the solitude of the wilderness background. I think the overall darkness fits the mood that she seems to be reflecting.

I liked the idea and as far as how it made me feel well it provokes a sence of longing and lonelyness...I am really not one that should be nitpicing someone elses work...I just notice right away that the light source is supposed to be behind her and she has highlights on her face where shadows should be..Im guessing it would be a touch more dramatic if you were to subdue those highlights..again I am new to this so please take what I say with a grain of salt

I appreciate any comments and oppinion, i just don't quite get what you mean. I'm guessing that you suggest "her left side of the face" should be darker..?

zona5101, thanks for the comments and liking..,
